Amelle Rose is a 22-year-old French-born alternative indie folk singer-songwriter based in Bristol. After a few years building up an online audience through YouTube videos that have racked up to 20,000 views, she moved from her hometown in France to the UK aged 19 and has since then been perfecting her craft, playing regularly at various venues and collaborating with fellow musicians around London.
Her raw and honest songwriting depicts the vulnerability of the human condition, in a spacious yet deeply personal and intimate way, all of which is supported by airy electric guitars laying a dark folk atmosphere. Amelle is currently working on her debut album “I Prayed For Peace”, due to be released in early 2020.
