Get 5 Free iTunes song downloads from American Express

American Express is offering its new and current card members instant rebates on up to five songs from the US iTunes Store.

Launched on February 10th, the promotion runs through March 15th. Cardholders can pick any song they want without restrictions.

Songs range from $0.99 to $1.29 per download.

Getting the freebies is quite easy.

  1. Log on to the enrollment page here.
  2. Fill out the form.
  3. You will receive an email confirmation that your credit card is successfully enrolled.
  4. Go to iTunes and purchase your 5 songs!
  5. Now just make sure the Card you enrolled is in your iTunes® account and it is what you used to pay for the 5 songs.
  6. Wait for the “refund” which would take up to 5 business days. It will appear as a credit back on your credit card.

Offer Terms:

To be eligible to receive the statement credit, you must register any valid U.S. American Express® Consumer Card or Business Card from American Express OPEN at amexnetwork.com/iTunes and use that Card to make a purchase on iTunes® between 2/10/11 and 3/15/11. A statement credit equivalent to the price of 5 song downloads on iTunes plus sales tax will be issued generally within 5 business days after your qualifying purchase, but may take up to 2 billing periods to post to your account.

Limit one statement credit per registered Card regardless of the number of transactions made. If your registered Card is replaced, you must re-enroll the replacement Card prior to making the iTunes purchase to get the statement credit. Apple is not a participant or sponsor of this promotion.
